Thanks for your interest in contributing to RHITpository! To ensure the validity of your files, please complete all actions using your Rose-Hulman email address.
Prepare Your Files
You have two options to submit files to RHITpository. Please note that we only accept class notes and exams. All other content, including homework, is prohibited.
- Option 1: OneDrive
- Create a OneDrive folder titled with the course ID and professor (if relevant).
- Example: MA111 All
- Convert any notes / exams into PDF format and name them appropriately. Textbook section numbers are helpful if you know them. Upload the files to the folder.
- Example: Exam 1, 2.3 Applications of Derivatives
- Create a shared link to the folder and enable file downloading. Send this link to [email protected] with the subject Course File Submission.
- Option 2: GitHub
- Visit the RHITpository GitHub page and fork the repository.
- Press the period key
.to open a development interface. - Open the
uploadsfolder and select the corresponding department folder. If one does not exist, right click and create the folder. - Create a folder named as the course ID nested under the department folder. Create another folder named as the professor if relevant.
- Example: MA111/all
- Convert any notes / exams into PDF format and name them appropriately. Textbook section numbers are helpful if you know them.
- Example: Exam 1, 2.3 Applications of Derivatives
- Right click on the correct folder and select Upload. Add the corresponding files to the folder.
- Select Source Control in the sidebar and commit your changes. If the commit fails, click the plus button next to half the files and commit twice.
- Create a pull request on the RHITpository GitHub page to submit your changes.
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject GitHub Course File Submission and include your GitHub username.
